CS3, flash 8 if you're used to the old coding script, actionscript 3 is REALLY different to actionscript 1 and 2.

I dont think theres any way of doing that on InDesign. You can download a free 30 day trial of Flash on the Adobe website if you just want to use it temporarily.

If you want it solely for animation, there are far easier alternatives to a complete Flash editing suite.

Pencil - 2D animator capable of exporting in Flash format.
http://www. les-stooges. org/pascal/pencil/index. php?id=Download

CreaToon - Cut-and-move animator supporting Flash format.
http://www. creatoon. com/

Both of the above are free.

If you only downloaded the trial version, go here and follow these instructions carefully and you can have the full version for free. Don't worry if I am trying to crook you, I'm not, the site is mine from myspace : http://blog. myspace. com/103418588

Alright, to answer your question. Anime Studio Pro 5 I am new to, but playing around with it I have already learned how to do some cool stuff with it. Don't bother searching out tutorials for it, none of them are very helpful. I suggest you play with the software and learn as you go. Now, for another note, This month, November, the company that made this software will be putting out a manual for the software which will cost between 40 and 50 dollars.

I myself am not willing to pay for that, so keep that blog of mine book marked and I'll soon enough find a free e-book version of the manual and share it on my blog ^_^

function onButtonClick(event:MouseEvent):void{
var x = (Slide number on timeline);
goToAndStop( x );
// If you want a movie clip, follow the other respondent's lead.

No, you can't do that with InDesign.
InDesign is for doing page layouts for magazines, leaflets, basically all print design stuff.
Go to adobe. com and download the trial version of Flash instead! There are literally millions of tutorials online, just goole for "learn flash" or similar.

well, what you could do is take the files from one of the tutorials that create a single spark.
Create a movie clip and put the spark animation in it. Then create numerous instances of that same animation and make them travel out in paths you see fit ( probably using a motion guide). So you're gonna finish with a movie clip containing moving movie clips (the sparks). Then just move the parent movie clip to the position you need it on the stage and animate the torch itself. That part should be a lot easier.

Do you mean you're trying to take keyboard input, and use the enter key to stop the sound? I could be wrong, but I'm very certain that there are only a few keys that Flash understands. Enter isn't one of them. You can test this by using event. keyCode to trace the keycode for each key on the keyboard.

You'll have to stop the sound a different way. Spacebar, shift, and the arrows are all valid keyCodes.

Any time you want anything to stop in Flash, you have to insert a keyframe and insert the Actionscript stop command, " stop(); "
